What a bio for designers has to do
A designer bio is a small portfolio piece: it shows taste by what it leaves out. Say what you design and for whom, add one line that hints at your point of view, and link to work that loads fast on a phone. The banner image does the visual talking, so the words can stay plain.
Once the bio is set, the posts have to match it. The tweet ideas for designers page has prompts and opening lines to start from.
Questions
Should designers use styled fonts in their X bio?
Sparingly, if at all. Styled characters are hard for screen readers and search, and a clean, plain bio already says something about your taste.
How long can an X bio be?
Up to 160 characters. Links in the bio are shortened, and the profile also has separate fields for a website and a location, so you don’t need to spend bio space on either.
Does this tool use AI?
