Tweet scheduler for X (Twitter)
A tweet scheduler that writes the tweets too
Queue posts and threads for X, spread them across the hours you choose, and move them around on a calendar. PostInk drafts them in your voice first, and nothing goes out without your approval.
How it schedules
- 01
Review, then approve
Drafts arrive one at a time. Press the arrow to schedule one, and the next slides in.
- 02
Your rhythm
Set your posting hours and the gap between posts. The default is every three hours between 9:00 and 22:00.
- 03
A calendar
See your week at a glance, and drag any post to another slot or day.
- 04
Posted from your browser
At its time, the post goes out from x.com with your own login. No API. No server.
Good to know
Because posts go out from your own browser, Chrome needs to be open and the computer awake at post time. Posts that came due while it was closed go out when you open Chrome again, one at a time and 90 seconds apart, so your feed never gets a burst.
Plan the week in one click
Scheduling is the easy part. The hard part is having something to schedule.
Save the themes you post about, like your product, your field, or what you’re learning. PostInk counts the open slots in your week and drafts that many posts, each from a different angle and in a different format, all in your voice. You go through them like a stack of cards: keep, edit or skip. Ten minutes later, your week is full of posts you’d have written yourself.
Every draft goes through the same check as the rest of PostInk, so phrasing that reads as generated never reaches your queue. If you’re short of ideas, the tweet ideas page has 96 to start from.
X’s own scheduler, next to PostInk

Questions
Is there a free tweet scheduler?
X’s own scheduler is free: on x.com, select the calendar icon under the post box, pick a date and time, and confirm. It schedules one post at a time. PostInk is free for 7 days and then $3.99 once, and adds the drafting, threads, a queue that fills your posting hours, and a calendar.
Does PostInk use the X API?
No. PostInk posts the way you do, from x.com in your own browser with your own login. There’s no API key to set up, no PostInk server holding your account, and nothing to pay X for.
Will my posts go out if my laptop is closed?
No. At each post’s time, PostInk opens X in a background tab of Chrome and posts, so Chrome needs to be open and the computer awake. Anything that came due while it was closed goes out when Chrome opens again, one post at a time, 90 seconds apart.
Can a post go out twice?
No. Each scheduled post is confirmed with X after it’s sent, so a retry never doubles it.
Can I schedule threads, images and video?
Yes. Threads go out as one thread, and images, GIFs or video go with the first post. Files wait in the extension’s own storage until their post is published.
How far ahead can I schedule?
Each approved post takes the next open slot within your posting hours, so the length of your queue sets how far ahead you are. You can drag any post to another day on the calendar.
